Christopher C. Mathers

Christopher Cameron Mathers, passed away on Thursday, June 7, 2018 at the age of 72.   He was born in the small town of Bellshill Lanarkshire outside of Glasgow, Scotland. Chris moved with his family to the United States in 1952. An avid golfer, Chris loved his regular golf trips.  He also enjoyed shag dancing and working in the yard, gardening and taking care of his beautiful home.  More than anything Chris enjoyed spending time with his family and spoiling his grandchildren. Chris was preceded in death by his father and mother, John and Jean Mathers and brother James Mathers. He is survived by his beloved wife of 51 years, Belinda, daughter Michelle Sporre (nee Mathers), son-in-law Eric Sporre, and three grandchildren Christian, Elizabeth and Matthew.  He is also survived by brothers William and John Mathers and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
