Edward Charles Merkel

Edward (Eddie) C. Merkel On Wednesday, May 23, 2018, Eddie passed away at age 57 as result of multiple strokes at Doctors hospital, Lanham Maryland. Eddie was a loving family member and friend to all that knew him. He is survived by his daughter Nicole Merkel and brothers and sisters, August “John” Merkel, (Cathy), Donna Kreitzer, (Rick), Carolyn Merkel and Lawrence “Larry” Merkel and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents John and Dorothy Merkel, and sister Margaret Wiggins, (Warren). Eddie was a proud member of the IBEW Local union 26. He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion, Disney-Bell Post 66 where he spent time with his many friends.
