William Patrick Murphy

William Patrick Murphy, age 60, a lifelong resident of Bowie, MD, passed away on May 14, 2018.Born May 5, 1958, Patrick was the son of William Wesley Murphy, Jr. , and Gertrude Paprotka, both deceased. He is survived by an aunt and uncle, Trautchen and George Setta; an aunt, Jean Murphy; and cousins Dr. Charles E. Murphy, Jr., Donna Ahlstedt, and Carol Alexander. Patrick was a member of the Latter-Day Saints Church in Bowie, MD. He was also very active with Boy Scout Troop 403 at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, as well as with national BSA activities, reaching Eagle Scout. A memorial service to celebrate Patrick’s life is being planned, to be held at the LDS Church on Sylvan Drive in Bowie, MD, at a date to be determined.
