William "Bill" Rufus Witt, Jr.

On Monday, May 14, 2018, of Bowie, MD. Bill was a member of Bowie Elks Lodge #2309, American Legion Post 66, Fleet Reserve Club of Annapolis and Retired Officers Association. Beloved husband of Maureen A. Witt, father of one son and one daughter. Dear brother of the late Marie White, Ralph, Eugene and Francis Witt.  Family will receive friends on Monday, May 21, 2018 from 11 to 1pm at St. Matthews United Methodist Church, 14900 Annapolis Rd, Bowie, MD, followed by a funeral service at 1pm. Interment, Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at the Maryland Veterans Cemetery Chapel, Cheltenham, MD at 11am. Donations may be made to St. Matthews United Methodist Church.
