Frances Greig

?Frances was born in South Central Virginia. She grew up on her father's farm in Burkville. She was one of eight children.Frances went to beauty school in Lynchberg, VA., then worked as a manicurist in Richmond. It was there she met and married Charles in 1949. They moved to Washington, DC where he was a police officer. In 1956 they moved to Maryland. After their daughter started school, Frances went to work as an electrician doing circuit boards until she retired in 1979.Frances attended Faith Independent Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school, worked in the nursery and helped with vacation bible school for many years.They began attending Woodlawn Baptist Church in 1996 and enjoyed many years of fellowship with the warm loving people of Woodlawn.Frances is survived by her husband Charles, her daughter Marcia and her husband Fred Hoffman, her grandson David and his wife Karie and their children Connor and Kylie, and her granddaughter Jennifer and her husband Michael Simmons.
