Margaret Mae Bracey

Margaret "Peggy" Bracey of Bowie, Maryland passed away unexpectedly on April 21,2018. She was born and raised in Alexandria, Virginia. After she finished high school, she met her late husband Larry and they got married on March 25, 1961.Peggy worked at Bowie Internal Medicine for 20 years, where she met many of her long time friends. She also had several friends at Sacred Heart's Ladies Sodality, whom some she played mahjong with every Thursday. Peggy loved Sacred Heart Church and volunteering whenever she could. She especially enjoyed her outdoor weather permitting evening chats with ladies on her street.Along with spending time with friends and family,some of  Peggy's most memorable times were spent at the Outer Banks.  Rain, shine, snow or sleet, her happy place was spent listening to the ocean. Just like Larry, she was an avid Redskin fan and could be found watching an NBA basketball game on TV.Peggy was survived by her three children Stephen (Stefanie), Stephanie, Matthew (Wakana), her grandchildren Brock,Paige and Emma, her sister Kay Fletcher and several nieces and nephews.
