Hewitt M. Travis

Hewitt Travis, 87, graduate of Ahoskie, North Carolina High School, passed peacefully away in his sleep March 24th.  He married his high school sweetheart, Earline Morris, and they remained together until her death in 2003.  Hewitt worked his entire career for General Motors before retiring in Bowie, Maryland.  He is survived by his son Lee (and his wife Gina), two grandchildren, Michael (and his wife Kristine) and Jessica.  He was blessed to get to know his three great grandchildren, Amie, Heidi and Toby.  He was our anchor and will be missed.
