Lowell Eugene Drinnon lost his long battle with prostate cancer on March 18, 2018. He spent his lifetime taking care of others. He always put everyone ahead of himself. He worked hard his entire life! His family meant more to him than anything. He is survived by one daughter, 47 year old Tammy L. Tipton., and her husband Robert Tipton,, 48 year old, who was more like a son to him. He has one grandson, Brandon Tipton, 26 yeasr old, who meant more to him than anyone in the world, and his wife Jazmine, 26 years old. He is also survived by two sisters, Etta and Bennie, and two brothers, JC and Garnie. He has many many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his mother, Beulah, his father Rex, his brother Jack, and his brother Ralph. In his younger days he loved gardening. He grew some of the best veggies you have ever had. He loved playing the guitar. He grew up in Rogersville, Tennessee, which is where his heart has always remained. All of his best memories were in Tennessee. He loved telling stories about his life! He loved fishing and the beauty of the mountains. He was always a country boy at heart! He was a proud man that always tried to do the right thing! He was very hospitable. If you came to visit he always tried to feed you! That's just the kind of guy he was! Anyone who really knew him knew that he hated memorial services. He would never want people standing around a room crying over him. He wanted everyone to be happy. In honor of him we will be taking his ashes to Tennessee, in the summe, r to scatter them in the mountains that he loved so much. His loved ones will gather to celebrate his life!
