James Thomas Van Ness

On Tuesday, March 6, 2018, of Bowie, MD, James (Jim) Thomas Van Ness, age 56, passed away peacefully at Anne Arundel Medical Center in Annapolis, MD after a lengthy illness. Jim lived his life to the fullest and was a devoted husband, father and friend.  He is loved by all those he knew in life and will be greatly missed.  He was preceded in death by his father Leon Van Ness, and sister Alicia Hill (Van Ness) and is survived by his mother Winifred Van Ness, beloved wife Lydia Irene Van Ness (Satterfield) and daughter Amanda Marie Grimshaw (Chris).
