Margaret Walsh, 90, died Thursday at Mandrin Hospice House, Edgewood, MD. Born in Pawtucket, RI, Margaret and her late husband of 67 years, Joseph, spent the past 40 years living in Upper Marlboro, MD. Following her husband’s death in March of 2017, Margaret enjoyed the last year living at Gardens of Annapolis an independent senior facility. There she met many new friends and enjoyed activities in the Annapolis area. Margaret (Peg) is survived by her loving family. Her 4 children Michael Walsh, Susan Walsh Koster (Robert), Betsy Walsh Grey(Cortland) and Jeffrey Walsh (Brett Chambers); six grandchildren, Shawn, Megan, Robert, Christine, Mackenzie and Mallory and three great grandchildren; Avery, Connor and Harper. Her sister in law, Ellabert Walsh Macnie, 95, still lives in East Greenwich, RI. Her brother in law, Donald Glynn, 90, lives in Omaha, NE. A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, March 1, at their long time Parish, St. Mary of the Assumption in Upper Marlboro, MD. Reflection will be at 10am followed by Mass at 11am. Margaret will be buried alongside her husband at the Crownsville Veteran’s Cemetery in Crownsville, MD.
