On Wednesday, February 8, 2018, Mary Helen Brosnahan (nee Johnson) passed away. Born in Germany and raised in Glen Burnie, MD, she graduated from the University of Maryland. An avid animal lover, she was a member of many rescue societies and saved literally thousands of cats and dogs over the years. She was preceded in death by her mother, Ursula Hein, and her aunt, Renate Cercolin. She is survived by her father, Calvin Hein, her loving husband of almost 30 years, Edward Brosnahan, her children, Ryan Thuillier (Kelly), Ross Thuillier (Ashley) and Kelly Bothum (Peter), as well as her brothers, Roland Johnson (Laura), Frederick Hein (Susan Mahan) and Gregory Hein (Beri). Grammy, as she was known, will also be greatly missed by her grandchildren, Elizabeth, Raymond, Addy, Becca, Charlee, Lauren, Natalie and Matthew. She passed away knowing that she was surrounded by family and friends, whose lives will never be the same without her. Family will receive friends at Beall Funeral Home, 6512 NW Crain Hwy (Rte. 3 South) Bowie, MD on Sunday, February 11 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Interment private.
