Andrew Grogard

On Thursday, December 14, 2017, of Crofton, MD, formerly of Bowie, MD. Andrew served in the US Navy as a submariner on the USS Swordfish based in Pearl Harbor. He worked for the City of Bowie for over 20 years. Andrew was an accomplished musician and mandolin player. Loving son of the late Captain Andrew J. and Mary J. Grogard. Beloved brother of Nick Grogard, Robert Grogard, James Grogard, Mary "Maka" Grogard (Jack), Jeanine Drews (Chris) and John Grogard. Also survived by a host of loving nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Family will receive friends on Monday, January 8, 2018 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the family-owned BEALL FUNERAL HOME, 6512 NW Crain Hwy. (Rte. 3 South), Bowie, MD, followed by a funeral service at 4 p.m. Interment private, Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Crownsville, MD.
