Mrs. Constance Bielat Duffy was born to John and Irene Bielat in Hamtramck, Michigan.  They later moved to Detroit where she was raised. She attended Wayne University, receiving a Bachelor's of Science degree in Education. While attending Wayne University, she was a member of the Debate Club. She also joined the Newman Club where she met her husband, Edward Duffy. The Duffy family moved to Bowie, Maryland in 1968. After moving to Bowie she decided to focus her attention on family and became a homemaker. Constance and Edward were married for 47 years and both passed away on December 12th, 13 years apart. Constance resided in Bowie, Maryland for many years before moving to Regency Park Assisted Living in 2015. She was the proud mother of Edward, Theresa (Terry), Laura (Jimmy) and Ruth, sister of Lyn (Pat), grandmother of five lovely grandchildren, Billy (Meaghan), Crystal, Talon (Kelsey), Kyle and Jessica, and aunt to many nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews. She had a number of leisure interests.  She was an avid reader and had always enjoyed reading Nancy Drew and the Little House on the Prairie book series. Her Catholic faith was an important part of her life, as well. She will be missed by many people whose lives she touched.  If desired, donations may be made in her memory to Hospice of the Chesapeake, Mandarin House, Harwood, MD.
