Mary T. Brady

Early on she went to Holy Redeemer Grade School in College Park, MD.  Later on, the family moved to Lanham, where she went to St. Mary's Elementary School, Landover Hills, MD, then on to Elizabeth Seton High School, graduated in 1967. She married Mark T. Brady.  He died shortly after Mark Jr. was born. She later had Michael C. Brady. She worked for the FTC for a short time.  She decided to drive the school buses. Learned how to drive a dump truck and  moved on to driving trucks! She loved it.  They lived in Annapolis, MD. She attended church at St. John the Evangelist. She loved the Strawberry Festivals and walking the beach in Annapolis. One of her favorite respites was going to Solomon's Navy Rec Center.  She also hosted many family reunions there.  Our Lady Star of the Sea was the church she went to while there. She enjoyed taking her mom-in-law Jane to Solomon's too.  Mary enjoyed cooking cream of crab soup and baking.  She baked and gave away her - cinnamon rolls. AND her Oatmeal Cookies, the recipe on the Oatmeal box, was her favorite. She helped many friends and family members through her life.  She loved her family, often called her sons to make sure they got to work, called her siblings occasionally and kept up with each.  She was loved and is sorely missed.  She was preceded by her parents: Charles, Charlotte Frances and step-mom Marie;  3 brothers: Charles, Steven and John and 1 sister Frances Shryock Hesson .  Mary has 5 grandchildren and 7 remaining siblings.   Please keep the family in your prayers!
