Jackie passed away on October 20, after a long battle with cancer. She grew up in Wisconsin and New Hampshire. She graduated from University of New Hampshire, then earned an MS in Chemical Oceanography from the University of Connecticut. After working at the Mystic Marine Life Aquarium in Mystic CT, she worked for nearly 20 years for the Interstate Commission on the Potomac River Basin before moving to the National Marine Fisheries Service. An avid swimmer, she enjoyed coaching youth sports. She also enjoyed gardening and cooking. She was predeceased by grandparents: Edward and Rose Johnson and Joseph and Marion Duprat. Also by uncles Kenneth Johnson and Leo Duprat. She is survived by her parents James and Beverly Johnson, her sisters Patricia Kochan and Judith Muller, her husband David and son Alex.
