Donald John Healy

Of Bowie, MD, passed away Wednesday, September 13, 2017. Don was born in Westbury in Long Island, NY. He left Long Island to further his education. He graduated from Northeastern University with a BS in Criminal Justice and an MBA. Don's passions included gardening, he could grow anything and everything. He also collected 20th century art glass. Don lived in Bowie for 10 years and was a computer project analyst at the Internal Revenue Service for 20 years. He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Betsy Healy; sisters, Christine Healy of Levittown, NY and Valorie Hickey of Rochester, NY; and brother, Dr. Brian Healy of Fort Myers, FL. A Memorial Mass will be held on Thursday, September 28, 2017 at 11 a.m., at Sacred Heart Chapel, 16501 Annapolis Rd., Bowie, MD. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to an Animal Shelter of your choosing in Don's name.
