Helen and Joe kept their relationship even when Joe went to the Korean War overseas. Once he returned, they were married and ready to start a new loving family. Together they had 3 boys, Joseph, Gary and John and 1 daughter, Darla. They began a new life in Lanham, Maryland and stayed there for the remainder of their lives. Her husband passed suddenly in August 2009, shortly after returning from the annual family vacation. She was devoted to the Catholic Church and more so her faith, attending masses every Sunday after long Saturday’s of sale shopping.
