Sherman R. Douglass

Born September 26, 1959 in Prince George's County, MD.  Died September 7, 2017 at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, DC. Sherman grew up in Kenwood Beach, played with the Calvert County Little League and coached when his sons were of age.  He was the owner/operator of Coastal Car Care which he successfully managed the past 19 years.  He first opened the business in Lothian, MD and is currently located in Huntingtown, MD.  He loved camping, spending time with his grandchildren and was an avid Redskins fan.  You could always catch him at the shop and even if he was locking the doors he would re-open to get you back on your way.He leaves behind his beloved wife of 17 years, Patricia M. Douglass.  He was also the cherished son of the late William F. and Alice J. Douglass of Calvert County; admired brother of William F. (Sharkie), John W. (Potts), Alice J., Charles W. (Chucky) and Stanley C.; loving father of Aaron S., Robert R. (Ryan), Jordan L., Heather F., Christine M. (Chrissy) Haskell, Ashley E. Brown and Erin K.
