Bridget Theresa Bronder departed this life to be with her Lord on Saturday August 12, 2017 in Bowie, Maryland at the age of 26. Bridget was born on October 16, 1990 at Holy Cross Hospital in Silver Spring, Maryland to her parents Mike and Ruth Bronder. Bridget attended St.Pius X elementary school and then graduated Bowie High School in 2008. She received and Associate Degree from Anne Arundel Community College in 2012. She was most recently enrolled at Baltimore County Community College in order to become a certified Veterinary Technician. Her dream was to work with animals. Bridget had a tremendous passion and love for all of God’s creatures. She spent time volunteering at Prince George’s Animal Services walking the sheltered dogs and cleaning the cages. There was a time that she brought home a stray dog with no collar and kept him, as her heart would not allow her to see this animal frightened and alone. She loved life and cared especially deeply for people and animals that were most vulnerable. Bridget was a member of St. Edward the Confessor Catholic Church in Bowie, Maryland. She was involved in the Right to Life movement. She attended marches in Washington D.C. and fervently believed in the sanctity of human life and the unborn. Bridget loved music, biking, the ocean, and movies. Her family was most important of all to her and she would speak and express her love every chance she had. Her tender heart, timid sweetness, intelligence and humor will be cherished all who truly knew her. She is survived by her father, Charles “Mike” Bronder Jr.; mother, Ruth Bronder; brothers Zachary and Matthew; godparents Edward and Kathleen Roman; uncles James, Richard and Victor; aunts Marie, Susan and Renee; and her cousins Beau, Jay, Joshua and Tyler. In memory of Bridget, and her interest in the well-being of animals, contributions to the American Humane Society would be appreciated.
