John P. Rodgers

On Thursday, August 3, 2017, of Bowie, MD. John grew up in Anne Arundel and Prince George's Counties settling in Bowie in 1979, he graduated from Bowie High School in 1988. After completing a childcare course at Prince George's Community College, John worked as a pre-school aide. Through the Park and Planning Commission John enjoyed bowling, softball, floor hockey and the Weekenders Social Club. He was an avid Nationals, Capitals and Redskins fan. Loving son of Eva K. Rodgers and the late John K. Rodgers. He is also survived by his brother Joseph Rodgers, and an uncle, aunts, cousins and friends.
