Cari C. Cusack

Cari Cathleen Cusack, age 44, passed away at her Bowie home on July 18, 2017   due to respiratory failure.  Cari was the beloved daughter of John (Jack) Cusack, III and Peggy Cusack (deceased), loving sister of John Cusack, IV and Michelle Morris ( Shane), loving  aunt of Shane A. Morris II (deceased) and cousin, niece and friend of many. Cari struggled throughout her life with both cognitive disabilities and mental illness. She had to work very hard to gain accomplishments  which to most people are quite ordinary.  In her  8th grade special education  class she made the honor roll.  She was quite proud of graduating from Bowie High School with a GED.  Cari had a good sense of humor, a hearty laugh and enjoyed most of all gathering with her family for dinners and special events. Cari’s mother Peggy was both her closest confidant and lifeline. After her passing a few months ago Cari’s  health significantly worsened. Cari gave a lot of love and helped teach us to be a little more kind, understanding and accepting to the less fortunate in our midst.  Her family and friends love her and will miss her deeply.  Rest in peace Cari.  As Jesus said—“The last will be first...” We firmly believe that today Cari is sitting at the head of the table! Family will receive friends on Saturday August 12, 2017 from 1030 to 11 at Beall Funeral Home, 6512 NW Crain Hwy (Rt 3 South), Bowie Md with a memorial service at 11. In lieu of flowers a donation could be made to St Judes Children Hospital.
