A life well-lived. Jane Elizabeth Harmon Sobleskie, 85, joined many of her beloved family in heaven on July 7, 2017. Born August 10, 1931 in East Stroudsburg, PA, Jane always shared stories of her girlhood adventures; train rides to New York, dances, music, family and friends. The love of her life, Anthony “Tony” Francis Sobleskie won her heart and they were married in December, 1952. They celebrated 52 years of marriage, teaching their four children about love for family and life values during those years. Jane enjoyed traveling and meeting new people. Her circle of love included many during the years she lived. She loved music, loved to dance and had a ready smile for everyone. She and Tony enjoyed 20 years of life in Florida where her circle of friends widened. Jane is reunited now with her husband, Tony, as well as her daughter Libby (Elizabeth DeSales Sobleskie), her parents James and Ellen Harmon and her brother James Harmon, Jr. (Dorothy). Jane leaves her legacy of love to be carried forward by her children, Antoinette “Toni” Sobleskie-Ballagh (Bill), Marianne “Mano” Sobleskie Curtis (Jeff), Paul Sobleskie, and her sister Marianne “Mano” Harmon Miller (Paul). She was blessed with three grandchildren, Deeanne Curtis Lahocki (Jamie), Justin Sobleskie (Brittany) and Mechelle Curtis Clark (Mitchell). She was also blessed with great grandchildren; Colton, Macklin and Hudson Sobleskie, Henleigh, Garrett and Hunter Lahocki, many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. We, her family and friends, are blessed with the love and life-values Jane taught us. Her wonderful memory lives on within each of us. We love you.
