Tony Matthew Lawrence, 36, died unexpectedly on July 1, 2017 in Washington, D.C. He was born in Cheverly, MD on December 5, 1980 to Beverly Marie (Katz) Mitchell and Thomas Henry Lawrence. Tony grew up in Prince George's County, MD, and lived in the cities of Mt. Rainier, Hyattsville, and Laurel. Tony was a free-spirit who loved life, his family, his friends, and of course, his beloved cat, Furby. On any given day, you could find Tony enjoying life by chit-chatting with his friends, dancing his booty off at the club, or vaccumming his house AND Furby. He was energetic, full of life, funny, and always a great time. Tony was the best, and CRAZIEST, story teller. He lived life hard, played even harder, and loved every minute of it. He had a big heart, believed in those he loved, and was always willing to help others. He will be greatly missed by all those who knew him.He is preceeded in death by his mother, Beverly Marie Katz-Clokey and his step-father, Daniel Richard Clokey. He is survived by his father, Thomas Henry Lawrence of Cottage City, MD; his furbaby, Furby; one brother, Earle Weston Lawrence of Cottage City, MD; three sisters, Angela Dawn (Mitchell) Enlow of Lake Tapps, WA, Therese Dawn (Clokey) Ragland of Fayetteville, NC, and Danielle Renee (Clokey) Adams of Myersville, MD; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and nieces; and many friends he loved like family.Family will recieve friends on Saturday, July 8, 2017 from 3 to 5 pm at Beall Funeral Home, 6512 NW Crain Hwy (Rt. 3 South), Bowie, MD 20715. Private interment on a later date at Fort Lincoln Cemetary, Bladensburg, MD.
