Anastasia Tsakiris

On Tuesday, June 13, 2017, Anastasia (Zannetidis) Tsakiris, age 93, passed away peacefully in her daughter’s home surrounded by all her children and family.  She was married for 55 to her late husband Moskos Tsakiris. Devoted mother of Kosmas Koukoulis and his wife Kiki, Dr. Savas Tsakiris and his wife Connie, Fifi Kutson and her husband Nick, Irene DeRito and her husband Carl and honorary son Bill Popomaronis and his wife Cynthia.  Loving grandmother to 9 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.  She is also survived by a host of loving nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Family will receive friends at Connelly Funeral Home, 7110 Sollers Point Road, Dundalk, MD on Friday, June 16, 2017 from 4 to 8pm.  Trisagion service will be held at 7pm.  A funeral service will be held Saturday, June 17, 2017 at 10am at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, 520 Ponca Street, Baltimore, MD. Interment, Oaklawn Cemetery, Baltimore, MD.  If desired, contributions may be made, in her name, to St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church.
