Janet Lee Sharp

Janet Lee Sharp, age 77, of Middle River, Maryland passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 8, 2017, at the Augsburg Lutheran Home in Baltimore, MD. She was born on December 13, 1939 in Annapolis, MD to Owen Dallas Sharp Sr. and Liberty Marie Sharp. She grew up in Annapolis and graduated from Annapolis High School in 1957.   Janet is survived by her beloved brother Owen, Jr. (Joe), his wife Janet, and her children Wanda, David, Michael, and Wendy. Janet was the loving grandmother and great grandmother of nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.    Janet enjoyed gardening, reading, live theatre, and collecting antiques. She also loved caring for her Yorkshire Terrier “Penny” who brought her unending joy. Her greatest love was spending time with her family and friends. She touched the lives of many and will be truly missed by all that knew her. Janet’s quote from her senior yearbook, The Wake 1957, “The busy bee has no time for sorrow”.    The Memorial Service will be at the Beall Funeral Home, in Bowie, MD on Wednesday June 21, 2017 at 4:00 PM.
