Obituary Donna Maria Shapiro (Donna Arnold)  January 28, 1965 – May 23, 2017    Donna Maria Shapiro, 52, of Bowie, unexpectedly passed away on Tuesday, May 23, 2017, peacefully at her home in Bowie, Maryland. Donna was born January 28, 1965 in Washington, DC to Mary Ellen Arnold and Patrick Edward Arnold, SR. She was the eldest of two children.     She was a lifelong resident in the Prince George's County area where she developed many lasting friendships. She graduated from Crossland High School in 1983. Donna, for many years, worked at Holiday-Tyler Printing Company as an Office Manager. She then became a stay at home mom after giving birth to her second child, David. After raising her two children, she then pursued a career in Real Estate, which she enjoyed very much and was quite successful at.     Donna was a loving Mother, Daughter, Sister and Granddaughter. She is survived by daughter, Stephanie M. Arnold; son, David A. Shapiro; mother, Mary Ellen Arnold; and brother, Patrick E. Arnold. She is predeceased by grandparents H. Gordon Malcolm and Mary C. Malcolm.   Donna was blessed by having her two loving children Stephanie and David who were the light of her life. She also left behind her beloved German Shepherd, Gage. She adored her dog, as he adored her.      Donna was a family oriented person. She was always planning and preparing for the next family gathering. When she wasn't with her family, she spent time with her many friends. Donna had a whole host of friends, from different walks of life, that brought her unending joy and provided her with lasting memories. She touched the lives of many and will be truly missed by all that knew her.    Family will receive friends Thursday, June 1, 2017 from 6pm to 8pm at Beall Funeral Home, 6512 NW Crain Hwy. (Rte. 3 South), Bowie, MD. Services will be held 11:00 am Friday, June 2, 2017 at Beall Funeral Home. Interment to immediate follow to Resurrection Cemetery, 8000 Woodyard Rd, Clinton, MD. Repass to be decided and will be advised. All family and friends are welcome to join.
