Michael Anthony Henry

Michael Anthony Henry, 64, of Bowie, MD., passed away Sunday, May 21, 2017 at his home. Born September 26,1952, in Washington, DC, he was the son of the late John Ross Henry Sr. and Margie Kilby Henry. He began his work life as a shoe salesman at Hahn’s shoes in Washington, DC. He went on to employment as an auto mechanic for nearly 40 years. Mike was always willing to help anyone however he could. Most of that help came by the way of helping people with auto repairs. He often worked 7 days a week to make sure his loyal customers were safe in their vehicles. He was an honest and hardworking person who loved to smile and laugh. He is survived by his wife, Catherine Kelly Henry; daughters Tina Henry-Barrus and Lisa Henry; son, Michael Henry Jr.; granddaughters Brittney Henry, Shyanne Dottellis, Rachel Barrus, and Anya Barrus; brothers Leroy Henry, John Henry Jr., and David Henry. His sister, Wanda Roxann Fisher-DeSantis passed away in 2014. A memorial service will be held at 1pm at Beall Funeral Home in Bowie, MD.
