Roger Dale Johnson, Sr.

On Sunday May 21, 2017 Roger Dale Johnson Sr of Bowie, Maryland passed away peacefully at the age of 67.  Roger took great pride in his family and in his career with the Prince Georges County Correction Facility.  He proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps.  Roger volunteered at the Landover Hills Volunteer Fire Department Station 30 for several years.  He also enjoyed his affiliation with the Bowie DAV and the Marine Corps League. He is survived by his sister Donna Wyman of Conway, Arkansas, his son Roger Dale Johnson Jr of Glen Burnie, Maryland, his daughter Ellen Marie Scott and her husband Ronnie of Elkridge, Maryland, his daughter Cara Dee Miller and her husband Rick of Elkridge, Maryland, grandfather to Terra, Tyler, Buddy, Dalton and Victoria and three loving great grandchildren.
