Leslie "Les" A. Augustin

Leslie “Les” A. Augustin passed away on May 1, 2017.  He was born on March 14, 1954 in Gary, Indiana and moved to Bowie, Maryland in 1968.  He graduated from Bowie High School in 1972 and was ranked the third best pole vaulter in Maryland.  Les was a man of many trades and talents – he was a lithographer, pressman, waterman, musician, and carpenter throughout his adult years.  During his free time, he enjoyed crabbing, fishing, and being by the water.  Les is survived by his parents, Arthur and Dorothy Augustin, his siblings, Richard, Karen, and Carol Augustin, his children, Elise and Ellen, and his grandchildren.  Memorial donations may be sent to the University of Maryland Medical System Foundation, 110 South Paca Street, 9th Floor, Baltimore, MD, 21201.  His family will miss him greatly and loved him very much!
