Milo Lee Wilson Sr., 88, of Bowie, MD and Melbourne, FL, passed away peacefully on April 16, 2017, surrounded by family and embraced in love. Beloved husband of Doris Wilson, devoted father to Milo Wilson Jr., Corinne Holliday (Charles), and Craig Wilson (Marsha) and stepfather of Candice Watkins (David), Patrick Hughes, James Hughes (preceded in death), and Steven Hughes. Milo, lovingly known as Papa and Granddad, also leaves behind 21 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, 2 great, great-grandchildren, and his adored dog “Gracie”. Milo was born December 20, 1928, in Washington D.C. to the late Edna Willard Nehrenberg (Harold) and Milo John Kennedy. Milo was educated in the historic Briarley Military Academy in Beltsville, MD. He was the Owner-Operator of Bulk Carriers Inc., retiring at the age of 74. The influential passion with which he embraced life, love, and work lives on in the many lives he touched. He has mentored and inspired countless individuals, leaving this World for the next with his mark forever implanted in the hearts of all those who loved him.
