On Sunday, April 2, 2017 of Lothian, MD. Dianne is survived by her loving family; husband Raymond R. Sears and children; Terri Stalnaker, Kim Manley, Ray Keith Sears and Roy Kurt Sears; son-in-law Van Manley; daughter-in-law Janet Sears; five grandchildren Katelyn Dyan Manley, Ray Kurt Sears, Bailey Odell Stalnaker, Lillie Jean Sears and a baby boy due in September. Sister of Charles W. Cox, Mary Odell, Wayne Phillips, Wanda Lou Cox, Debbie Sears, Diana and Tim Matlack, Inez Sears, Robert and Angela Sears. Also survived by countless nieces, nephews and friends. Dianne or Granny as she was so fondly known by most, will truly be missed and never forgotten by anyone who had the pleasure to meet her. Dianne Cox graduated from Arundel High School in 1960. In November of that year became Dianne Sears when she wed Ray Sears. Together the adventure began. They raised 4 children while she drove a school bus for Merle Chaney and volunteered at Arundel Fire Department and raised tobacco. Then they started Ray Sears & Son, Inc., Crofton Recreational Park, Dudley's Restaurant and Glen Burnie Golf Ctr. During the years she was very active in the Maryland Quarter Horse Association and the Maryland Delaware Barrel Horse Association. Family will receive friends on Thursday, April 6, 2017 from 2 to 4pm and 6 to 8pm at the family-owned BEALL FUNERAL HOME, 6512 NW Crain Hwy. (Rte. 3 South), Bowie, MD where a funeral service will be held on Friday, April 7, 2017 at 11am. Interment at Mount Harmony United Methodist Church Cemetery, Owings, MD.
