Jason Michael HammenFebruary 14, 1981 – March 9, 2017 Jason, age 36, was suddenly called home to be with God on March 9, 2017. Jason is survived by his two beautiful children, Isabella Marie and Jason Michael Jr. and their mother, Amy Hughes; his mother, Kathleen Tracy; his father and step-mother, Joseph Vincent and Debra Hammen; his brother Joe Hammen (wife, Cathy Flora) and step brother, Rick Tracy (wife,  Ardenia Tracy); his maternal grandmother, Charlotte Albert; his aunts, uncles and many cousins.  He will also be dearly missed by his loving girlfriend, Michelle Sobek; and the many friends and fellows that were such an important part of his life.Jason’s life had many ups and downs but he remained steadfast in his love of his children, family and many friends..  Most recently, Jason worked in mortgage sales.  Jason was a genuine man with a heart for others, always reaching out a helping hand, offering a positive perspective, and helping people to laugh.  He touched the hearts of many people, quick to help and be available.  Jason loved to cook, especially for others.  He also was a talented writer and touched many with his honesty, courage, strength, and vulnerability.   May the light inside of him continue to shine.   Jason will be always loved, never forgotten, forever missed; walking with the Lord in eternal peace. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Last Resort Recovery House, C/O Weldon Harcum, 1302 Lloyd Court, Annapolis, MD 21401, to establish a Scholarship Fund in Jason’s name.Donations also are appreciated through the family Go Fund Me page for his adored children’s needs and futures, www.gofundme.com/jasonhammen
