Carol Leonard Kaiser

Carol Ann Leonard Kaiser died following a long illness. She died in her sleep on March 8, 2017 with her family by her side. Carol was born September 12, 1939 to Michael and Caroline Soltishick (both deceased) in Dallas, PA. Carol moved to Washington, DC, she worked for the Navy Department and the Peace Corp. She met her first husband, James A. Leonard, Jr., in Wildwood, NJ while on vacation; Jim was working as a DJ. She married Jim on May 16, 1964 at Sacred Heart Church in Washington, DC and in the early 70’s moved to Bowie, MD. Carol and Jim had 2 sons, Michael and Stephen. Jim died in March of 1981 due to brain cancer. Carol met her current husband, Roy Kaiser, while working for Transamerica Real Estate Tax Service. They married on May 21, 1993 at Sacred Heart Church in Bowie. Carol was a long time member of the parish. She is survived by her husband Roy, her 2 sons, Michael and Stephen, four grandchildren, her sister Patricia of Tampa, FL., and her brother Paul of Maplesville, AL. She was preceded in death by her brother Michael.
