Gordon Sherwood Crandall

Gordon S. Crandall, age 86, died on February 18, 2017 at Anne Arundel Medical Center. Linda, his wife since 1974, was holding his hand. He is also survived by his brother, William “Bill” Crandall as well as 3 nieces, grand-nieces and grand-nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents mother Ethel M. Crandall; his father Louis E. Crandall and brother Louis Crandall. Gordon graduated from Washington University, St. Louis, MO. He served 2 years in the Marines. He worked at Capitol Printing Ink Co. from 1953-1986. He lived in Bowie, MD, previously of Crofton, MD, and Centreville, VA; he was originally from St. Louis, MO. Family will receive friends Saturday, February 25, 2017 from 9:30-11:00am at Beall Funeral Home, 6512 NW Crain Hwy, Bowie, MD 20715; followed by a service at 11:00am.  Interment private.
