Franklyn L. Sharp

Frank L. Sharp (Age 86) died October 21, 2016 at home from a recent bout of cancer.  He was the beloved husband of Dolores Sharp for 63 years.  He was the father of three children Anne, Margaret and Frank, Jr. and the grandfather of ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.  He worked as a mechanical engineer his whole life, taking a leave of absence from Acker & Sons to deal with cancer. He was an avid golfer and devoted husband and father.  Frank graduated from Wagner College in NY. He served in the Air Force in Korea.  Frank was a lifetime member of Bowie Elks and a member of the American Legion.  Family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 2, 2016 from 6 to 7pm at the family-owned BEALL FUNERAL HOME, 6512 NW Crain Hwy. (Rte. 3 South), Bowie, MD where a funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at 7:00pm.
