Angelo DeLeonibus

On Thursday, October 6, 2016 of Bowie, MD, passed away after an accident in his home.  Beloved husband of Viola Patane DeLeonibus for 66 years.  Devoted father of Michael (Denise) DeLeonibus, Angelo (Julie) DeLeonibus Jr, John (Sally) DeLeonibus and Anthony (Judy) DeLeonibus. Loving grandfather to Michael, Nicole, Christopher, Phillip, Steven, David, Matthew, Marc, John Jr., Patrick, Gina, Maria and Anthony Jr. Great grandfather to Michael Anthony III, Gavin and Colston and uncle to many loved nieces and nephews.  Angelo is survived by his brother Roberto DeLeonibus. His parents Ercolina and Antonio DeLeonibus and brothers Sabatino, Enrico and sister Louisa Jones predeceased him.  Angelo was born in Washington, D.C. and was proud of his time spent in the U.S. Navy and Merchant Marines where he was an aeronautical mechanic. After receiving an honorable discharge, he was founder and owner of D&D Service and D&D Tire Company. In his retirement Angelo enjoyed his home in Florida as well as sports, puzzles and a good joke but most of all spending time with his wife Viola and family. A Celebration of His Life will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 16501 Annapolis Rd., Bowie, MD on Friday October 14, 2016 at 10am.  Interment at Fort Lincoln Cemetery, Brentwood, MD.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church 16501 Annapolis Rd., Bowie, MD. 20715
