FRANKLIN MORRIS PARKS Suddenly on July 23rd 2016 of Upper Marlboro, MD. Born October 7th 1951 in Louisville, Kentucky, son of the late Morris B. Parks and Mary Lou Stallman Parks. Husband of Margaret Parks, father of Michael Parks and the late Andrew Parks. Brother of Brenda Straaten (Pete). Born into a military family he lived in different states including Lincoln Nebraska, Little Rock, Arkansas, Arlington, Virginia, and two different tours in England. Frank travelled to England on The Queen Elizabeth as an infant and lived there for 3 years where his 3 uncles were stationed at the same base. Frank had a long and distinguished career as a professional procurement contract manager and worked for several large well-known companies such as United Engineers, Bechtel, URS, KBR, K & M, and SGT. The contracts were primarily for large international power projects. He travelled world-wide for his   work which included stays in India, Vietnam, Egypt, Colombia, and the Ivory Coast. He also worked in Oswego, NY and in Jackson, Mississippi. He was always well respected at work and was extremely organized and professional in all his presentations. Throughout his career he received numerous accolades for his outstanding performance. Frank completed a two year contract in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia where he met his wife Maggie who was also working there but with a different company. They actually met on a vacation to Malaysia while still working in Saudi Arabia. They married in Middlesbrough, England and had a honeymoon in The Lake District, UK and in Rome, Italy. They returned to the US several months later to settle in Upper Marlboro, MD and to raise their family. Frank always had impeccable taste and was always a perfectionist.
