Carol A. Mainzer

Carol Ann Mainzer of Bowie, MD passed away at her home on July 18, 2016. She was born on May 7, 1952 in New York. Carol worked as a dialysis nurse at the Washington Hospital Center for more than 30 years before retiring at her home in Bowie, MD. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from the University of Maryland and her Masters in Nursing from Catholic University. She had a love for baseball, computers, photography, classic television and cats as well as a special attachment to the family dog, Snoopy. Her friends and neighbors at Princeton Square in Bowie have also earned a special place in our hearts as they gathered to comfort the family and share stories in this sad time. Carol is survived by her loving parents Millie and Bob, her brother Richard, sister-in-law Lorrie and nephew David. Thoughts and prayers for Carol and the family are appreciated and we know that she would have been pleased as well.
