Betty Jean Wyrick Caudle Born October 17, 1933, in Randolf County, NC, died on Friday, May 27, 2016 at home with her children by her side. Betty is the daughter of the late Henry Lewis Wyrick and Syble Smith Perdue Wyrick Hicks. She is preceded in death by brothers Julius, William, Jack, Robert and Wallace Perdue, and sisters: Frances Perdue Strader and Vallie Perdue Forrest. Betty loved her family and loved being together on special occasions, and Thanksgiving was always the highlight of her family time together. Betty leaves behind her devoted children: her daughter, Teri Lynn Caudle of Crofton, Md; her two sons, Richard Thomas Caudle of Greensboro, NC, and Charles Franklin Caudle of Lakeridge, Va. Her granddaughter, Anna Alexandria Caudle of Greensboro, NC, her two grandsons, Adam Thomas Caudle of Greensboro, NC and Charles Thomas Caudle of Lakeridge, VA, and her adopted granddaughter, Sasha Cline of Greensboro, NC; and numerous nieces, great-nieces, nephews and great-nephews. Her daughter-in-law, Susan Anderson Caudle, and her 3 step- granddaughters, Amanda, Ashleigh and Amber Wallace. Betty also leaves behind her special friend of over 55 years, Deloris Calisti Torres of Waldorf, Md and Anna Kovacs of Betterton, Md. who graciously cared for Betty during a time of need. The family will receive friends for a Celebration of Life visitation on Saturday, June 4, 2016, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Beall Funeral Home, 6512 NW Crain Hwy. (Rte. 3 South), Bowie, Md. 20715. Casual attire, please come as you are. Interment will be held at a later date in North Carolina. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to Hospice of the Chesapeake, or a cherished charitable foundation of your choosing, in her memory.
