Esmerando O. Juanitez

Esmerando O. Juanitez was born on August 8, 1951.  He is the son of the late Felipe and Antonia Juanitez of Santa Maria, Pangasinan, Philippines.  Esmerando is the husband of Zenaida F. Juanitez; father of Anna Marie Conner and her husband Chioke, and Naomi Erika Naik and her husband Dharmesh; and grandfather of Celine Conner & forthcoming Babygirl Naik.  He is also the brother to Pilar, Juliana, Pregilio & Mamerto, and to the late Julian, Justiniano, Artemio, and Evangelista. He attended St. Louis University in Baguio City, Philippines, where he obtained his Bachelor of Science in Biology.  He then served in the United States Navy, and after being honorably discharged, went on to pursue his passion in medicine.  He went back to St. Louis University and earned his Medical Degree.  He opened his practice in Washington, DC and specialized in Geriatrics. He not only took care of his patients but also served his community.  He was an active member of St. Matthias the Apostle Catholic Church, Mabuhay, Inc., and Bukas Loob Sa Diyos (BLD) Covenant Community. Esmerando joined our Lord and Savior on May 14, 2016 after a valiant fight with cancer.
