Terri Leah Staley

On April 30, 2016, surrounded by her loving family, Terri Leah Staley (September 15th, 1959) left this world peacefully to continue her journey to her final resting place in heaven with our Lord.  Though we will miss her greatly here on earth, we can at least know that she is now reunited with her loved ones that have passed before her. She is survived by her son Michael Calub, his wife Cynthia, and their three children Gabriella, Natalia, and Michael.Beloved daughter of Walter and Susan Staley and the late Darlene Roche. Granddaughter of Delores Cusick, Niece of David Cusick, (Cheryl), children Jeff, and Jamie. Also Survived by Ex-Husband Rudy Calub, who remained a very close and loving friend throughout her life. Finally, she leaves behind her best friend and longtime loving companion, James Kidwell. Terri was the most beautiful and loving person that we had the honor and privilege of knowing. Anyone who knew her would have to agree.  We were all so blessed to have her in our lives for the time she was with us. Terri graduated in 1977 from Clinton Christian High School in Clinton, MD.  She went on to work for the IRS where she stayed for 15 years. There she excelled and received many accolades which she always took much pride in.  Terri’s passion in life by far was always her family. There was nothing that she would not do for any of her family or friends. In addition to her family, she was also extremely loving and overly generous to strangers alike.  She was the most loving and selfless person this world has ever known.  There was not ever a person who crossed her path that did not see her light and feel her goodness.Terri had a gift of making everybody she knew feel so loved; she always found the good in all of us, especially when it was hard to see it in ourselves. She left us all with her beautiful words of love and encouragement that she would write and send to us daily.  We will miss seeing them come in, but we will hold on to all of the many treasures that she has given us over the years. We will miss all of the funny things that she would do and say that would constantly make us laugh.  Her wit and sense of humor was like no other. Just to be in her presence would make you smile and she never even had to try.  Terri was one “Hot Tamale” and everybody knew it. She would turn heads everywhere she went.  She was 100% all natural! A fresh and beautiful angel, now she truly is our special angel, watching over us from heaven and with us always. She will be sorely missed by all. Our family will be holding a memorial service for her on Tuesday, May 3rd from 6-8pm at Beall Funeral Home in Bowie MD.  (6512 Crain Highway, Bowie 20715).Please come to help us celebrate the beautiful life of Terri.
