Elizabeth A Nonnemacher

Elizabeth "Liz" Nonnemacher passed gently in her sleep on April 21, 2016 at the age of 80.  She was born to Mary and Theodore Christian on April 10, 1936.  She was preceded in death by her husband Dale K. Nonnemacher and daughter Cheri L. Stroup and brother Freddie Christian.  She is survived by her sister Lorraine Williams, her son Dale A. Nonnemacher and his wife Julie, and her son-in-law Dave Stroup.  She was grandmother to David, Heather, and Bre.  She was blessed to be the great-grandmother of 5.  She is also survived by her nephew Rob and his wife Dale, and other loving family and friends. Liz worked for the Federal Government at HUD & the U.S. Mint.  Liz enjoyed teaching Vacation Bible School at Grace Baptist Church and helping her neighbors.  Some of her other favorite things to do were bake Christmas cookies and decorate her house at Christmas with lights inside and out.  Liz was a long-time resident of Bowie, MD and lived comfortably at Kris Leigh Assisted Living home before she passed.
