Mary S. Scanlon

Of Gambrills, Maryland passed away on Friday, April 1, 2016. Born in Washington, DC. Beloved wife of the late Edward I. Scanlon. Loving mother of Edward B. (the late June), John (Joyce), Susie Hawley (Sonny), Marie Grace (the late Raymond) and Melissa Hebble (Chet); sister of Kathleen Mould and the late John, Joseph and Thomas Salb. Also survived by 15 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Stephen Hollaway. Family will receive friends at the family owned BEALL FUNERAL HOME 6512 N.W. Crain Highway, Bowie Maryland on Wednesday, April 6, 2016 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Church, 16501 Annapolis Rd., Bowie, Maryland 20715 on Thursday, April 7, 2016 at 10 a.m. Interment to follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Washington, DC
