Leonard M. Rose

?Leonard "Lindy" Rose passed gently in his sleep on March 30, 2016 at the age of 88. He retained his sense of humor and good spirits till the end. He was born to Eva and Isadore Rose in Brooklyn, New York on December 23, 1927. He was preceded in death by his younger sister Sandra LaCour. He married Laura Kaufman on January 10, 1953. Together they had four children. He is survived by his wife, daughters Ilene Sanders (Andy), Cheryl Rose, Lisa Deal, and son Steve Rose (Barbara). He was the grandfather to Adam, Aaron, Andrew, Sarah, Jonathan, Emily, Ryan, Eric, Sean, Heather, and Hannah. He was blessed to be the great-grandfather of 12. He is also survived by his loving sister Carolee Ross and loving nieces and nephews, and other loving, in-laws, friends and family. Lindy was a long-time resident of Bowie, MD and lived quite happily at The Annapolitan Assisted Living home with Laura before he passed.
