Jacob J. Maimone

On March 26, 2016 Jacob Joseph Maimone, beloved husband of the late Elsie Maimone; loving father of Louann Maimone (David Spring), Patrice Benton (Brian), Judy D'Ambrosi (Tony) and Joseph Maimone; brother of Lorraine Simmons and the late Catherine Kundrat; grandfather of Stephanie, Matthew, Griffin, Patrick, Jessica, Sam, Abby and Auggie.  Born March 11, 1932 he was a 54 year resident of Bowie, MD and a 1958 graduate of Penn State. He worked for the US Dept. of Education for 30 years and signed the original grant to authorize the funding of Sesame Street. Family will receive friends at the family-owned BEALL FUNERAL HOME, 6512 NW Crain Hwy. (Rte. 3 South), Bowie, MD on Thursday March 31, 2016 from 6:30 to 9pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 1800 Seton Dr., Crofton, MDon Friday, April 1, 2016 at 10 am. Internment, Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Crownsville, MD. If desired,contributions may be made for Neurofibromatosis Research at Johns Hopkins Hospital, www.ctf.org.
