Elizabeth Demetrides

?On Saturday, March 26, 2016 Elizabeth Demetrides of Cockeysville, MD. Wife of the late George Demetrides; Mother of Athan Demetrides and his wife Susan, and Spero Demetrides and his wife Theano; Grandmother of George, Anna, John, Alex and his wife Sara, Elizabeth, Nicole, and Mathew; Great Grandmother of Riley and Cecelia. She was born in Weirton West Virginia and came to Baltimore where she met and married her husband George Demetrides. She was involved with the Daughters of Penelope at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church and helped with numerous church functions and events. She loved entertaining friends and family and her greatest joy was traveling the country with her husband. She will be missed by her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mrs. Demetrides will lie-in-state at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, 520 South Ponca St., Baltimore, MD on Wednesday, March 30, 2016 from 11:30am to 12:00pm, with a funeral service at 12:00pm. Interment, Oak Lawn Cemetery. If desired, contributions may be made to St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church.
