David J. Flavell passed away early in the morning on March 5, 2016 in Annapolis, MD at the age of 77. He was born on January 19, 1939 to William and Ruth Flavell. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Jeanine Flavell and their three children, Mark Flavell, Brenda Bond and Sharon Walsh. He is also survived by his eight grandchildren: Brittany and Ross Flavell, Brian and Brett Bond and David, Kevin, Eric, and Sean Walsh and his faithful and loving best friend, Snow Ball. He is survived by a brother, Gerald Flavell and a twin sister, Mary Flavell Hawthorne. He is predeceased by his brother, John Flavell. David served as a member of the Air Force and was a Senior Site Manager for Lockheed Martin. He enjoyed spending time outdoors gardening, listening to Opera, discussing politics and fixing anything and everything. He especially adored babies and would spend hours holding, rocking and gazing at his children and grandchildren. He had a great sense of humor and would often play tricks on people or say the opposite of what he really meant. Funeral services will be held for close family and friends.
