Julia Ekundayo Margaret Malamah-Thomas was born on August 15, 1972 to Bishop Julius Olutu Lynch and Mrs. Alberta Kainde Lynch. She passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 3, 2016 in Lanham, Maryland. ?Julia attended Baana Nursery School and Christ Church Primary School in Freetown, Sierra Leone. At age 9, she came to the United States and stayed with her aunt, Mrs. Princess Doherty, and returned to Freetown at age 12. Julia continued her secondary school education at The Annie Walsh Memorial School, where she completed the 5th Form. Upon completion of her high school career, she proceeded to England for further studies. ?Julia relocated to the United States permanently in 1995 and worked in various capacities. She eventually discovered her niche in the area of Paralegal studies. Consequently, Julia enrolled at Prince George’s Community College in Maryland, where she earned a Certificate in Paralegal/Legal Assistance and an Associate of Arts degree in Applied Science (Paralegal/Legal Assistance). Julia continued her studies at the University of Maryland University College, in College Park Maryland, where she was awarded a Bachelor of Arts degree in Paralegal Studies. After graduation, Julia worked as a legal assistant for various companies, including the law offices of Morris Isaac and Douglas Resources, Inc. She also worked in the area of accounts payable for United Linen Service, United Educators Insurance Company, The Kamper Group, Metrocall, and U.S. Pharmacopeial Convention, Inc.
