?Carl E. Burkowske of Lusby, MD and formerly of Baltimore, MD passed away on Monday, February 15, 2016.He worked for United Airlines for 32 years, played for the bands The Sentries and The Ravons, and loved animals and people. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Anne Burkowske; 7 children Dianna Donaldson and husband Michael, Steven Burkowske and wife Dawn, Shayne Burkowske, Jill Peterson, Carl E. Burkowske Jr. and wife Andrea, William Burkowske, and Catherine Burkowske; a brother, Donald Burkowske; and 8 grandchildren. Family will receive friends at the family-owned BEALL FUNERAL HOME, 6512 NW Crain Hwy, (Rte. 3 South), Bowie, MD on Friday, February 19, 2016 from 2 to 4pm, with a funeral service at 4pm. Interment private.
