Allyn Lee Clark December 19, 1930 – January 26, 2016 Allyn Lee Clark was born in the small village of Olean, in upper state New York to Frederick Harlan Clark and Beatrice Marie (Allen) Clark. He served in the Medical Service Corp and retired after twenty-two years with the rank of Lt. Col. During his time in the Army he received many accommodations and citations including the Bronze Star Medal, and Meritorious Service Medal. Col. Clark is a Vietnam Veteran having served from February 1967 through February 1968. Early in his military career he competed on the Army pistol team. He went on to represent his country at the Pan Am Games and was the senior national champion for International Clay Target two years running. As an avid hunter and fly fisherman, Col. Clark made over twenty trips to Alaska. He was most at home with a fly rod or shotgun in his hand. He continued to enjoy his hobbies until the end of his life. Col. Clark is survived by his wife, Margaret Louise Sisk Clark, of Bowie, MD, two sons, Mark Clark and Scott Clark of Arkport, New York, 2 granddaughters, 6 step-children and 13 step-grandchildren. Viewing and services will be held on Saturday, January 30, 2016 beginning at 12:00 pm at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 16621 Sylvan Drive, Bowie, MD.
